Alain Bellaïche was born in Tunisia. After three years at the Beaux-Arts in Paris he records two albums in New York with French and American musicians, and tours extensively through Europe and the US with his band. Moving on to Montreal where he plays with Quebec star Robert Charlebois, he works on numerous musical projects and is a composer for theater, films and contemporary dance. Fascinated by the visual, he exhibits his photo work in atypical spaces, then produces a video clip released on guitarist Richard Pinhas’ « Metatron » CD, as well as a short film about choregrapher Kitsou Dubois show piece « Trajectoire Fluide » for which he also wrote the music. He directs and produces his first feature documentary « Mémoire de Pierre », a portrait of sculptor Shelomo Selinger, author of the National French Deportees Monument in Drancy.
